If your kid is not eating properly or has bad breath, then it can be a sign of some early dental problems needing urgent care and treatments. But apart from these, there are certain issues that are seen in almost one-third of kids these days. All these issues are related to oral health or dental urgencies. It arrives in two stages- for children between 18-40 months, and for children in their pre-adolescent/ adolescent period.

Dental urgencies can happen anywhere and there is a possibility that not every time you are in reach of a Pediatric Dentist. Fret not! We are here to give you some quick ways that can calm down your child before they get actual treatment from the doctor.

Toothache

Toothache is the most common problem among children which can occur due to tooth fractures, tooth decay, tooth trauma, and wisdom teeth eruption (adolescence). But these are severe cases. In general, a toothache can be a result of food stuck in teeth. Mild cases can be treated at home and if pain continues, you can consider a dentist’s visit.

Dental Avulsion

A condition in which the tooth is knocked out is known as Dental Avulsion. You should immediately contact a pediatric dentist (kids dentist). If it is a baby tooth then implantation cannot be done.
